About Me
I am an aspiring aquatic ecologist based in Pittsburgh, PA studying as a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh. Through my academic and professional endeavors, I have found ways to incorporate water, community health, and urban ecology into my research and work. While pursuing my goals, I have sought pathways for the next generation of underrepresented and first-gen aquatic scientists to succeed in freshwater science.
Academic History
At Binghamton University (SUNY) I sought to build foundations as a biogeochemist through pursuit of a bachelors degree in Environmental Science with a Concentration in Ecosystem Studies.
At the University of Pittsburgh I am a first year PhD student studying Geology and Environmental Sciences in Dr. Emily Elliott's Isotope Tracers lab
